Here at Casa Galini community is very important to us. We believe it is one of the vital pillars to our individual well being as well as the overall health of the planet. It is through community that we as human beings connect with each other on a supportive and intricate level.

We are so fortunate to have such a wonderful community around Casa Galini. In keeping with our 360 degree approach to conscious living we prioritize sourcing, supporting and sustaining local businesses.

Below are a few of the local businesses we support!

Osa Naturals
We believe that what we put on our body is just as important as what we put in our body. This is something we have prioritized with the body soaps and cleaning products we use and have available at the villa. Osa Naturals is a family owned local business and some of Costa Rica’s finest handmade all-natural bath and body products, using locally sourced organic coconut oil and other natural ingredients. From body soaps to laundry detergent, their products are loved by tourists and locals alike. EcoFeria Dominical Farmers Market
This Farmer’s Market has a bounty of organic produce including some rare tropical fruits that you may have never seen or tasted before. It is a combination of numerous hard working local farmers from which we source most of our food for fridge stocking. From the freshest vegetable to handmade cheeses, organic eggs and fresh baked breads, nourishment is in abundance. Open to the public, they are also hosts to many local artisans selling everything from jewelry to skin care. It is a wonderful place to buy authentic souvenirs and enjoy overall good vibes. Eco Feria Dominical is every Friday from 8-1pm.

Emana Bulk Food Health Store
This is one of our favourite spots. Not only do they have a variety of products, they are completely zero waste. They have a variety of flour, spices, nuts, seeds, honey, chocolate, soaps and so much more. Most of their products are locally sourced with the exception of a few items. Be completely guilt free by bringing your own jars or purchase one of their reusable containers. Looking for a memorable souvenir? They also sell some art work created by some very talented local artists.
